The main aim of the GRASS project is to design, develop, test and validate “on-the-field” an innovative prototype of Graphene-Related Node for a Wireless Sensors Network, to be used as autonomous system for Environmental Monitoring on different  areas. 

The Node prototype(s) will be composed by sub-systems, exploiting different components based on Graphene Related Materials (GRMs), taking advantage by the most recent progresses on GRMs research in the field of Sensors and Energy Applications, thanks to a specific multi-module approach. 

The Node prototype(s) will be continuously updated until the end of the project (also during the final validation phase), following GRMs-based components’ developments and improvements within the GRASS Consortium and the Graphene Flagship.
